Not really labels because I do not give them away: I wanted to make nice labels like "perennial salad greens" or "Mediterranean herbs" on coloured paper, but I did not get around buying coloured paper. I simply printed it out in Black and white (works only with a laser printer) borrowed the kid's water paint and couloured it myself. Cheap and so much nicer! Let reds and yellows blend together....laminated in the end of course.

I print out and laminate labels for everything. Remember to make some blank ones that you can write on with whiteboard markers and rub off when you need to, these are good for the times when you have some plants with no labels or you need to give other information.

Do you give these labels away with the plants? Really awfully nice would be small pieces of whatever board painted with blackboard paint. They have this here in the COOP and it looks really cool. (one day)

I just found these ready made blackboard signs: thatonlineshop.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=96&product_id=742Anyway on ebay they are selling blackboard which is on vinyl in different sizes, I guess that it can be cut easily to any size and glued on whatever, it seems to be cheaper than the paint (it's an oil based paint, which is a pain). You can easily make these A-frame signs out of it.
