Rosella Plant $9
Rosella plant, also known as Queensland Jam Plant or Roselle is an annual plant native to Africa.
It is one of the most useful plants. You can eat the new shoots and calyxes fresh (lemony taste), you can make jam, brew tea, flavour desserts, sauces and fruit punches, use the leaves in cooking, or simply enjoy the pink flowers. Also used as natural food colouring.
Has antihypertensive properties (good for people with high blood pressure). Used in folk medicine as a diuretic, mild laxative, and treatment for cardiac and nerve diseases and cancer. The heated leaves are applied to cracks in the feet and on boils and ulcers to speed maturation. A lotion made from leaves is used on sores and wounds. Brazilians attribute stomachic, emollient and resolutive properties to the bitter roots. | Trixzie Dwarf Cherry Tree $49

Roselle is not frost hardy - isn't it? Do you sell at markets or do you do business over the internet?

Roselle is frost sensitive.
I don't sell at markets. Just the odd plants online.
