One challenge if a backyard nursery are holidays or you are simply away for work, getting sick for other reasons. How did you plan for that? Friends and neighbours are maybe reliable, but more often than not are not really very great gardeners.

A timer for the water and sprinkler heads. Battery powered timers are a little scetchy but I have gone away successfully with them.

I bought three timers. And you must take care. For the cuttings you need a timer which does water some seconds once an hour - most of the timers don't do that. I would always backup with neighbours, but sometimes they manage to kill a lot.

It is good to train the neighbors to take care of your garden.

After having some bad times with people not being able to understand how to water as I like it done I only take holidays in winter now, but they are long holidays
